We offer reliable service and quality products. We deliver and install soil and sod for the surface areas of your home or business. If your soil is lacking or devout of nutrients we can give it a boost with our custom compost tea based treatments.  

THE PROCESS

It is important to remove all existing weeds and debris from the site before installing the soil. Use an iron rake to knock down any high spots and fill in low spots so the soil is leveled. Remember to water lightly to dampen the soil.

Lay turf along a straight edge, such as a patio or fence. Work with whole pieces, laying them one at a time, end to end. Avoid walking on the sod as you lay it. Pat sod carefully into place to remove air pockets between soil and sod.

After the sod is installed, the first couple of days and the first few inches of soil need to be thoroughly watered, then kept moist until the sod roots attach to the soil. This requires a daily sprinkling of water of 30 minutes to 1 hour.
